Collectionspace was founded in 2006 by Luigi Pizzimenti astronautics consultant for Italian and foreign museums.  Manager of Astronautics on the Astronomical Observatory of Tradate.  Curator of numerous exhibitions and national events to which he invited the astronauts of the Apollo program. In 2009 he published: PROGETTO APOLLO essayist for Elara publisher. Always present the most important astronautical events in Europe and the U.S.A. Pizzimenti has participated to the LUNAR SURFACE JOURNAL and a member of IMCA International Meteorite Collectors Association. Collectionspace, unique of its kind in Italy, has allowed many fans to have a reference in their country. Collectionspace is the Italian leader and among the largest in Europe, has customers and friends all over the world. Provides the space suits used for video, photographic services, exhibitions and shows. Provides a news service  updated constantly with curiosity from the world astronautics and astronomy. Biography: Pizzimenti Luigi was born in Pavia (Italy) in 1963. He devoted much of his life to the collection of evidence and data about the space age, writing articles for magazines and working with museums and public institutions for the dissemination of the history of manned flight to the moon. Organizes exhibitions and lectures on lunar missions, is a member of various international companies. Accredited by the ESA and NASA has participated in several world events and habitually frequents the astronauts of the Apollo program. In December 2009 he published the book: PROGETTO APOLLO"The biggest dream of man." The whole history of the Apollo missions with interviews with the protagonists. He was responsible for the participation of Charlie Duke (Apollo 16) to the "Discovery" of the Town Museum in May 2009, the participation of Walt Cunningham  (Apollo 7) to  the Yury Gagarin shows Tradate (Va) in April 2010.

He is currently Head of Astronautics Section of the Astronomical Observatory Tradatese FOAM13, and lectures throughout Italy, has organized several events: "The Tree of the Moon". European correspondent of the Moon Tree Foundation chaired by the daughter of Stuart Roosa (Apollo 14) Rosemary. For the first time in Italy has been planted in the Park Pinewood Tradate, Varese one of the trees raised from seed brought from the moon on Apollo 14. (Pinus Teada Loblolly).

He curated the exhibition “Esplorando”  (Varese 31-3/29-4 2012) and invited the astronaut Charlie Duke  (Apollo 16). For the occasion, NASA has granted one of the largest fragments of Luna.  He directed the construction of the one Command Module (Casper) in the world, made in 1:1 scale and fully functional.

His journalistic collaborations, and the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal of NASA as well as to the direction of the site www.collectionspace.it have made him known internationally.

Biografia: Luigi Pizzimenti è nato a Pavia nel 1963. Ha dedicato buona parte della sua vita alla raccolta delle testimonianze e dei dati riguardanti l’era spaziale, scrivendo articoli per riviste specializzate e collaborando con istituzioni pubbliche e musei per la diffusione della storia del volo umano sulla Luna.  Organizza mostre e tiene conferenze sulle missioni lunari, è membro di varie società internazionali, come: la Planetary Society e L’IMCA. Accreditato presso l’ESA e NASA ha partecipato a vari eventi mondiali e  frequenta abitualmente gli astronauti del programma Apollo.

Nel dicembre del 2009 ha pubblicato il libro: PROGETTO APOLLO “Il sogno più grande dell’uomo”. Tutta la storia delle missioni Apollo con interviste ai protagonisti.

A lui si deve la partecipazione di Charlie Duke (Apollo 16) al Discovery del Museo Civico di Rovereto nel maggio del 2009, la partecipazione di Walt Cunningham (Apollo 7) alla mostra Yuri Gagarin di Tradate (Va) nell’aprile del 2010.

Attualmente è Direttore della Sezione Astronautica dell’Osservatorio Astronomico Tradatese FOAM13, tiene conferenze in tutta Italia, ha organizzato vari eventi come: L'Albero della Luna. Corrispondente europeo della Moon Tree Foundation presieduta dalla figlia di Stuart Roosa, (Apollo 14) Rosemary. Per la prima volta in Italia è stato piantato nel Parco Pineta di Tradate, Varese uno degli alberi nati dai semi portati sulla Luna dalla missione Apollo 14.  (Pinus Teada Loblolly).

Ha curato la  mostra “Esplorando” (Varese 31-3/29-4 2012) e invitato l’astronauta Charlie Duke (Apollo 16). Per l’occasione La NASA ha concesso a uno dei più grandi frammenti di Luna mai usciti dai “forzieri” del Lunar Samples.  Ha diretto la costruzione del  Modulo di Comando (Casper), realizzato in scala 1:1 e perfettamente funzionante.

Le sue collaborazioni giornalistiche e con l'Apollo LUNAR SURFACE JOURNAL della NASA, lo hanno reso noto anche in campo internazionale.
