THE
RELATION OF THE EVENT 20 MARCH 2010
The first
national presentation of the book “APOLLO PROJECT” by Luigi Pizzimenti
On Saturday 20 march at FOAM13 conference room, it has been a great success of
the public and the interest where it has been presented in national preview,the
book” Apollo Project”. The greatest dream of the man written by Mr. Luigi
Pizzimenti.
On this
occasion it was present the author of the book,he is esteemed for the ESA
(European Spatial Agency) for the NASA (American Spatial Agency),and also he is
the member of the PLANETARY SOCIETY;Luigi Pizzimenti has dedicated a part of his
life to get togheter the evidences and the data about the spatial age,
particularly about the diffusion of the man’s history on the moon.
He has
lots of informations about Apollo Project for this book.This book tells not
only about the history of powerful launching rockets and about brilliant
solutions to all problems that a mission involves,but it tells also the history
of men; they tell thanks to the evidences of the NASA’s archives and besides in
this book there are their emotions and secrets transmitted to the author.
Like a
program there was:
ROBERTO
CRIPPA ( President FOAM13),he presented the history of the observatory of
TRADATE
GIUSEPPE
PALUMBO ( The responsible of events in FOAM13),he was the moderator of the
event.
The
experts were: FEDERICO MANZINI(He is the responsible of the scientific activity
FOAM13)
GIUSEPPE
MACALLI(He is the responsible of the auxiliary telescopes FOAM13)
ANTONIO
LO CAMPO(he is the journalist of the LA STAMPA and of the NUOVO ORIONE and he
is the expert of astronautics).
In
conference room there was a replica of the BUZZ ALDRIN’s space –suit, it has
been realized by MR.LUIGI PIZZIMENTI. It has
been a great success for the adult and young public.
Besides
MR. MARCO BACCINI has brought a series of objects used in the missions,and
astronautic models signed by all space men. At that time of the missions MR
BACCINI was the correspondent of the swiss television.
There
were many objects of the historical value at FOAM13,but the most interesting
objects were the original manuals of flight,a star map used by Apollo11 for the
navigation on the moon and a scale model 1:96 of the launching rocket SATURN
V signed by Apollo Project’s space men.
All
these objects could stay in every museum of the world.
